The Master’s Program in Art Education at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) Denpasar-Bali is currently finalizing preparations for the Accreditation Visitation by the Independent Accreditation Institution for Education (LAMDIK). This was revealed during a meeting to prepare for the Accreditation Field Visitation in the Natya Widya Sabha Room on Thursday, April 18, 2024.
The Coordinator of the Master’s Program in Art Education, Dr. Ni Wayan Ardini, S.Sn., M.Si, stated that the meeting was held to strengthen coordination with the Accreditation Team and to review all the required documents for the accreditation process. The Accreditation Field Visitation for the Master’s Program in Art Education will be conducted by LAMDIK Assessor Team on Monday to Tuesday, April 29 to 30, 2024, at the ISI Denpasar Campus.

Previously, the Master’s Program in Art Education has gone through several rigorous accreditation stages. These stages include Progam Account Creation, Accreditation Proposal Registration, Proposal Document Upload, Validation, and Sufficiency Assessment. Currently, the Master’s Program in Art Education has reached the Field Assessment stage, a crucial step in demonstrating the quality and suitability of the program with established standards.

LAMDIK is an accreditation institution responsible for conducting accreditation processes in the field of education. All accreditations related to educational study programs will be processed and observed through this accreditation.
Formerly, the accreditation process was carried out through a single channel, namely through BAN-PT. However, over time, based on Regulation of the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education No. 32/2016, the accreditation process is conducted through independent accreditation institutions, one of which is LAMDIK. This accreditation process aims to ensure the quality of an educational study program to continuously upgrade and advance education in Indonesia. (ISIDps/Humas-RT)
